Job Description:
The Candidate will play a key role overseeing the Accounts and Operations function, providing exceptional accounting, operations and administration services to the company.
You will be responsible for the preparation of Financial Statements with Disclosures and other ad-hoc financial information. You will take ownership and respond to Client/Investor queries promptly. Using your own judgment to highlight any significant finds and put forward any recommendations to help us find an appropriate solution.
It is essential that you follow the correct processes and procedures to help us ensure we are compliant with applicable laws, service standards, company policies and procedures. You will need to have a curious mind and use your initiative to identify any risks or concerns ensuring you report them in a timely manner.

Responsibility/ Duties:
- Execution of transactions and resolve problems with record-keeping, accounting, trade platforms with minimal supervision.
- Serve as a point of contact between internal and external personnel eg Banks, Vendors, Brokers, and Regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with sales team to draft new business contract in accordance with internal policies which meets clients needs.
- Maintain accurate clients and vendors data.
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Publish financial statements in time
- Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary

- Manage office supplies stock and place orders

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven work experience as an Administrative Officer, Administrator or similar role
- Solid knowledge of office procedures
- Experience with office management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically)
- Strong organization skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- HND Business Admin/HND Accounting or any Other Degrees; additional qualifications in Office Administration are a plus

- Daily reconciliation of payments to ensure the accounting system reflects the correct transactions
- Making and posting of bank transactions;
- Working on expense claims of employees;
- Maintains list of vendors and its Master data;
- Accounting System updates;
- Daily reconciliation of bank statements with transaction dockets, purchases and sales schedules
- General Ledger reconciliation
- Prepare weekly and monthly reconciliation reports
- Supporting month end process
Qualifications and Requirements:
- HND, OND, AAT Preferably
- 1-2 years of experience
- Basic knowledge of accounts reconciliation and accounting principles
