Many N-Power Batch C applicants have been asking if they can use their mobile phones to capture fingerprint as they begin receiving congratulatory messages from N-power for physical verification.
Gistcore.com.ng learnt that successful N-Power applicants began to receive congratulatory messages few hours after the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development (FMHDSD), Sadiya Umar Farouq, told the press that the N-Power Batch C shortlisting process is at the concluding stage.
The congratulatory messages mandated all shortlisted applicants to do their biometric fingerprint via Nasims portal. Now, the question is whether the fingerprint can be done on mobile phone or not.

CAN WE DO N-POWER FINGERPRINT ON MOBILE PHONES?
Well the answer is ‘NO’, unless you have a very high sophisticated smart phone connected with fingerprint scanner like DigitalPersona U.are.U 4500 Scanner, the type of fingerprint scanner used for JAMB and NYSC registration. (See image below).
However, the Npower NASIMS management categorically told applicants they would need
32 bit installation or 64 bit installation as biometric fingerprint prerequisite. And also
.NET Desktop Runtime.
This shows you would definitely need a desktop or laptop to be able to complete fingerprint enrollment. This you can do at home if you have a laptop and fingerprint scanner.
