Job Title: EOC Administrative Coordinator

  • The EOC Administrative Coordinator oversees a variety of administrative and technical services to support activities of the Emergency Operations Center (EOC).
  • S/he ensures quality services are rendered at the front desk and points of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

What You’ll Do

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Supervises entries, and/or updates data to maintain departmental records and databases, as appropriate; establishes and maintains files and records for the EOC. Organizes and maintains electronic and paper filing systems for EOC resources, tools, and materials, including files on the shared drive.
  • Ensure general administrative/Technical support to the EOC Office staff and Partners as required are provided.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of the basics behind the Internet and its workings (DNS, Security, IP Routing, VPN, Email Routing, and HTTP. Investigates, diagnoses, and solves computer software and hardware faults.
  • Installs maintains, configures, and troubleshoots telecommunication infrastructure, including VOIP phones, AP’s, WLAN controllers including servers, printers, computers workstations, etc.
  • Performs any other duties assigned by Management.
  • Provides technical support to troubleshoot malfunctions of network hardware and software applications, telephones and security systems to resolve operational issues and restore services.
  • Organizes and facilitates meetings, conferences, and other special events. Sets up meeting rooms with appropriate technology and arranges lunches, dinners, and refreshments for meetings.
  • Oversees all secretarial/clerical duties including recording and transcribing minutes of meetings, photocopying, fax, and mailing. Assists in managing all technical equipment (printers, computers, projectors, etc.)
  • Responsible for assigning daily tasks and overseeing the maintenance of electronic and Physical copy filing systems, and modifies documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, and emails.
  • Coordinates and oversees the day-to-day management of supplies, equipment, and facilities for the organization, as appropriate, to include maintenance, inventory management, logistics, security, and related activities.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized academic institution in Business Administration, Computer Science, Management or any related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years Technical administrative support experience preferably in an International NGO or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, organizational skills, and great attention to detail. Must be able to work as a member of a team and possess good problem-solving skills.
  • Must have flexibility in working hours, including on-call availability and the willingness to work holidays. Excellent customer service skills.

Job Title: Secretary to the Incident Manager

Purpose of the Position

  • The Secretary will assume the duty of clerical and administrative support in order to optimize workflow procedures in the office.

What You’ll Do

Job Title: Communications Coordinator

Purpose of the Position

  • An eHealth Africa-led consortium comprising Society for Women Development and Empowerment in Nigeria, Middle Space Consulting, and The Busara Center for Behavioral Economics, has been contracted to implement the Accelerating Nutrition Results in Nigeria (ANRiN) Project in Kaduna state.
  • The Project, financed by World Bank and the Global Financing Facility (GFF) will contribute to the reduction of the burden of malnutrition in Nigeria through the use of cost-effective and sustainable strategies to deliver nutrition, adolescent health, and family planning services at the community level in 12 LGAs of the state (Kaduna North, Chikun, Kajuru, Kachia, Kagarko, Jaba, Zango Kataf, Kaura, Jema’a, Sanga, Kaduna South, and Ikara).
  • The Communications Coordinator will be responsible for managing project communications for the eHealth Africa-led consortium’s implementation of the ANRiN program.

What You’ll do 

  • Develop a communications strategy and implementation plan for the project
  • Develop high-quality, engaging written and multimedia content for the project, presenting our work, resources, and impact clearly.
  • Design and lead of production of print materials (posters, banners, leaflets, cards) and other promotional materials as required
  • Support the consortium with the development and dissemination of social behavioral change communications (SBCC) materials
  • Create and implement communication plans around key project events/pieces of work e.g MNCHW
  • Manage our multimedia resources, including developing and maintaining the photo library, and when appropriate work with consultants to produce digital content to promote our work.
  • Monitor, record, evaluate and report performance statistics and successes.
  • Support the project management team with the development of planned monthly, quarterly and annual internal communications content

  • Support the organization and implementation of beneficiary sensitization campaigns

Who You Are

  • B.Sc Degree in a related field and professional certification is required
  • A Masters Degree is an added advantage
  • Minimum of 4 years cognate experience, NGO experience is an added advantage
  • Prior experience working on a nutrition or adolescent health project, or a project with a strong SBCC component is an added advantage
  • Prior experience conducting co- design workshops and developing IEC materials
  • Prior experience developing communication strategies
  • Proven record in building digital media platforms, notably social media
  • Ability to build consensus and work with diverse groups of people.
  • Ability to represent eHA effectively to external audiences
  • Ability to meet deadlines under extreme pressure.
  • Knowledge of Analytics, SEO, SEM & PPC.
  • Excellent writing, copyediting and proofreading skills and sound technical ability
