Fighting is very normal for celebrities – online fighting that is. Every other week there is a new story about one celebrity calling out another celebrity, a celebrity fighting with a fan, celebrity fighting with a troll, celebrity fighting with brand. Celebrity fights are nothing new when they are online.
But when things become face to face, that is a completely different story that we hardly see. It is very rare to hear news about celebrities especially Nigerian celebrities getting in physical fights with anyone moreso another celebrity.
However, just because it’s rare doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. Here are 4 Times Nigerian Celebrities Attacked Other Celebrities Face to Face.

1. Jim Iyke and Uche Maduagwu
News broke today that star Nollywood actor Jim Iyke apparently tracked down resident Instagram shit-stirrer Uche Maduagwu and showed him pepper, real-life pepper.
The confrontation happened after Uche Maduagwu took to social media to question the source of Jim’s wealth, insinuating that Jim Iyke is a ritualist. Well, Jim Iyke took “I dey my house, come beat me,” seriously and turned up at Uche Maduagwu’s residence.

2. Davido and Burna Boy
Fans were left in shock when in December of 2020, reports started to surface of a physical fight between two of Nigeria’s biggest musicians Davido and Burna Boy.
According to reports, the scuffle began after Burna Boy entered into a nightclub where Davido was partying in Ghana. Nobody knows what exactly sparked the tensions or caused the fight to start but after the incident, Davido took to Twitter to write: “I go leave this music for Una”.
While it’s not clear who he’s talking to, fans infer that the message is directed at Burna Boy and Wizkid who was also present at the club.
3. Tiwa Savage and Seyi Shay
In the later hours of June 8th, 2021, Nigerian blogger Tunde Ednut posted two videos to his social media. In these videos, Nigerian singer Seyi Shay approaches fellow singer Tiwa Savage to say hi, but Tiwa wants none of it. Tiwa explicitly calls Seyi out on being ‘fake’ and tells her that she hasn’t forgotten what she and Kenyan singer Victoria Kimani did to her years back during the Fvck You Challenge.
They both go on to haul insults at each other and have to be physically separated by salon staff.
4. Wizkid and Dammy Krane
In 2016, Dammy Krane took to his Twitter page to announce that Wizkid had stolen his intellectual property.
What followed was a fateful evening at Quilox Nite Club when Wizkid ran into Dammy Krane. According to news reports, Wizkid reportedly smashed a bottle on Dammy Krane’s head. Things would have even gotten more out of hand people report if not for the intervention of the club owner.
