
EFCC chairman Abdulrasheed Bawa has been treated and now due back at work, the anti-graft office said in a statement.
The disclosure came hours after Mr Bawa slumped at an event at the Presidential Villa on Thursday afternoon.
The 41-year-old was subsequently accompanied out of the event and moved to a hospital where he was said to have received prompt treatment, with the EFCC now declaring him as “hale and hearty.”

The Chairman of the Economic and Financial Commission, EFCC, Abdulrasheed Bawa is hale and hearty.
This clarification became necessary following an incident today September 16, 2021, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja where he was giving a goodwill message to the National Identity Day celebration, felt unwell and had to return to his seat.
He has since received medical attention and is due back at his desk.
