
2021 was many things to many different people. For the people on today’s list, it is the year when they got to welcome not one, but two children at once into the world.

1. Kizz Daniel

The first celebrity on our list is none other than hit-maker of such songs as Laye, Mama, and One Ticket, Kizz Daniel. The singer announced the welcoming of his twins Jelani and Jail on his birthday, May 1st, writing:
There is no better way to celebrate my birthday than announcing the arrival of my sons…Jelani & Jalil.

2. Joe Okei-Odumakin

Josephine Okei-Odumakin popularly known as Joe Okei-Odumakin is a women’s right activist and president of the Women Arise for Change Initiative and the Campaign for Democracy. She is also the wife of the late Nigerian human rights activist and politician, Yinka Odumakin.
On the 27th of October last year, she gave birth to a bouncing set of twins, one boy and one girl, in the United States of America. The announcement made in a press release via Facebook read saying:
Dr. Joe Okei-Odumakin, widow of the late spokesperson of Afenifere, Yinka Odumakin, was delivered of bouncing twins – a boy and a girl – at a United States of America hospital on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. The mother and the babies are in excellent health condition. The “miracle” birth fulfilled the wishes of the late Odumakin towards the end of his sojourn on earth to have another baby to be named after him. The couple got married in 1997, had their first baby girl in 2000 and the second, a boy, in 2003. While the girl was named after Joe, the boy was named Abraham after the late Afenifere leader, Pa Abraham Adesanya. The twins are coming 18 years after the last childbirth.

3. Bimbo Success

Nollywood actress Bimbo Success also welcomed a set of twins last year. The announcement was made in a post shared by Bimbo’s sister, Bukky who said:
My goodnews has come. What God cannot do does not exist. Oluwaseun am super happy. E bami dupe amor mi ti bi mo.
Colleagues of Bimbo such as Iyabo Ojo also took to Instagram to congratulate her. Iyabo wrote saying: “Congratulations darling @bimbosuccess our latest Iya Ibeji in town, welcome to motherhood.“

4. Chris and Ngozi Obileri

Nigerian journalists Chris Obileri of Radio Nigeria, Purity FM, Awka and his wife, Ngozi Obireli of Anambra Broadcasting Service got married on the 28th of December, 2007 and finally after 13 years of expectation, welcomed a bouncing set of twins into the world.
Both parents said they were filled with joy of being parents and remembered how they held on when people thought there was no possibility of them ever having children. The children were dedicated on the 19th of September, 2021.

5. Ruth Obih

Nigerian presenter, realtor and event planner, Ruth Obih welcomed a set of twins three years after losing her son. Making the announcement on Instagram, Ruth couldn’t hide her excitement as she showed of her twin daughters to the world.
