The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has apprehended the Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo.
Oluomo was arrested over allegations bordering on financial impropriety.
He was reportedly arrested on Thursday morning at the Murtala Muhammed Airport in Ikeja, Lagos State.
The Speaker was picked up following a tip-off.

It was learnt that the Speaker was being interrogated in the custody of the agency.
However, Gistcore media cannot independently verify Oluomo’s arrest as the spokesman of EFCC, Wilson Uwajaren refused to pick up his calls and didn’t return a text message sent to him.
