We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Enumerator

Job Title: Enumerator

Location: Jigawa
Grant Duration: Subject to availability of funds and exceptional grant performance.

Experience, Skills, and Minimum Qualifications

  • National Diploma or Higher in Social Sciences, or related fields.
  • Must be resident in Jigawa State and available for the entire data collection period
  • At least 2 years of field research experience.
  • Previous experience in conducting surveys and tracking of respondents for follow-up surveys.
  • Demonstrated experience in data collection at various levels (planning and collecting).
  • Excellent planning, organizational skills and communication skills.
  • Previous tablet-based survey experience/computer literacy using open data kit (ODK).
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a demanding environment with great interpersonal skills.

4.) Qualitative Researcher

Experience, Skills and Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Master’s Degree in Public Health, Demography and Social Statistics, Sociology or a related field.
  • Must be willing to travel to Jigawa State for data collection.
  • 5 -10 years’ proven experience as qualitative researcher
  • Proficiency with qualitative data analysis tools/software (e.g., Dedoose, NVivo, Atlas.ti).

5.) Field Coordinator

Location: Jigawa
Grant Duration: Subject to availability of funds and exceptional grant performance

Experience, Skills and Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Higher in Sciences including Health Sciences, Computer Science or any related field.
  • Must be resident in Jigawa State and available for the period of assignment
  • At least 5 years’ experience in field work involving data collection, data quality assurance and evaluation working with local or international NGOs in public health programmes
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively as a lead and member of a highly functioning team
  • Knowledge management skills and experience in writing of technical reports
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools/software (e.g., Stata, SPSS).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other office tools are required.
