Man sets own vehicle ablaze in Enugu over release of Nnamdi Kanu

The end may not have been heard about the ongoing jubilation that ensued in South Eastern part of nigeria after the Appeal court release and acquittal of the embattled leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB as yet to be identified young man has set his vehicle ablaze in Enugu in celebration of the release.

Gistcore media source revealed that the young man whose identity is yet to be determined at the press time has consistently told his friends and indeed any person who cared to listen that any day the leader of the secessionist group regained freedom, he will burn his vehicle to celebrate the release.

Explaining further, our source stated that “to fulfil his promise, around 7pm on Thursday after the court judgement, this young man drove his vehicle to the centre of main road, at Holy Ghost park, opposite Onitsha south local government mass transit and set it ablaze. ”

Asked how people were reacting, our source explained that ” initially people were shouting and asking for help, pouring water to quench it but when the owner came out and told them that he did it to protest the release of Nnamdi Kanu, they couldn’t empathize with him again.”
