Gunmen suspected to be bandits have killed a military officer.
Gistcore media gathered that the incident occurred on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Nathaniel Dem Danjuma Dawa.
He was said to be on his way to Abuja when the gunmen opened fire on the vehicle he was travelling in.
“This military officer, Nathaniel Dem Danjuma Dawa, elder brother to my good friend and priest, Rev Fr Bitrus Dawa was killed by bandits on his way to Abuja,” a family friend of the deceased, Emmanuel Zakka, said.
“May his soul rest in peace and may God comfort and console the family.
“My friend, may God be present in your hearts in this time of grief.”
