A woman who sells local drinks and bitters has been captured on tape announcing that she still accepts old naira notes.
She displayed her goods at her spot in Ojota, Lagos state while telling all and sundry who may still have any of the old N500 and N1000 notes to bring them to her.
The hawker appealed to prospective customers to patronise her and pay with old money even if that’s the only money they have.
“Come and buy market for my hand I dey collect old money,” she said repeatedly.
