Controversy As Sen. Aisha Binani Gives Acceptance Speech Amidst INEC’s Nullification Of the Process (Watch Video)

Despite Nullification of Adamawa State Governorship Election Result INEC, the Candidate of The All Progressive Congress in the Adamawa State Governorship Election Senator Aisha Binani gives acceptance speech to accept declaration of result which is done by Resident Electoral Commissioner of the State.

However, the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has issued statement to suspend the collation of the result which was declared by the Resident Electoral Commissioner of Adamawa.

Recall that the Resident Electoral Commissioner for the state, Barrister Hudu Yunusa just made the declaration following the supplementary election held Saturday.

Results from 10 out of the 20 local government areas had been declared while the exercise was adjourned till 11am.

However, announcement of the final result an hour before the scheduled time.

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was leading before the pronouncement was made.

Some PDP supporters in the hall had protested why the announcement was made by the REC instead of the returning officer.
