Positions vacant for recruitment into the Rivers State Hospital Management Board

A. Consultant family physician, Obstetrician/Gynaecologist, general Surgeon, paediatrician, psychiatric:

Requirements: A University degree in medicine/Surgery (MBBS or MBBCH) and part II fellowship.

B. Medical officer.

Requirements: A University degree in medicine/ Surgery (MBBS or MBBCH)

C. Dental Officer:

Requirements: A University degree in Dental surgery.

D. Nursing Officer:

Requirements: A University degree in nursing

E. Nursing Superintendent

Requirements: registered nurse/midwife

F. Medical laboratory Scientist:

Requirements: A University degree in medical laboratory science

G. Medical laboratory technologist.

Requirements: Candidates must possess National diploma of the institute of medical laboratory technology ( Obtained after four years course), Associate membership of the institute of medical laboratory technologist of Nigeria plus WAEC or SSCE and registered with the medical laboratory council of Nigeria for health technologist.

H. Medical laboratory technician

Requirements. Candidates must possess WAEC /SSCE and evidence of completion of a three year training in a recognised institution, and obtained the registration of the institute of medical laboratory technology of Nigeria for technican cadre.

I. Pharmacist

Requirement: A University degree in pharmacy.

J. Pharmacy technician.

Requirements: Candidates must possess WAEC/ SSCE and the pharmacy technician certificate from a recognised institution with appropriate registration and licence.

K. Optometry

Requirements: A University degree in optometry or equivalent qualification

L. Radiographer/Medical imaging scientists:

Requirement: A University degree inRadiographer/Medical imaging science.

L. Clinical psychologist

Requirements: A University degree in clinical psychology

M. Accountant:

Requirement: A University degree in accounting

N. Administrative officers:

Requirements: A University degree in social sciences, humanities or arts.

O. Programme analyst.

Requirement: A University degree in computer science

P. Statistician.

Requirement: A University degree in statistics and mathematics

Q. Dental technologist.

Requirement: HND in dental technology

R. Medical Record Technologist.

Requirement: HND in medical records from a recognised institution with appropriate registration and licence

S. Medical Record technician:

Requirement: A candidate must possess WAEC/ SSCE and associate membership of the association of medical Record technician with an evidence of completion of a three year training in a recognised institution

T. Anaesthetic Technician.

Requirement: A Certificate/Diploma in Anaesthetic from a recognised institution

U. Plant Operator:

Requirement: ND in relevant subject, NATEB, Trade test class III, II, I

V. Driver:

Requirements: WAEC/NECO with valid Class C drivers Licence.

W. Mortuary Attendant:

Requirement: WAEC/ NECO and evidence of training in a reputable Mortuary or organisation.
