Governor Oyebanji Presents Appointment Letters To 1,300 Newly Recruited Teachers In Ekiti

Less than one year in office and in line with the quest of his administration too reposition Basic Education in Ekiti State and as part of his administration’s development agenda, Governor Biodun Oyebanji presented letters of appointment to the first batch of 1,300 newly recruited teachers in the state’s public primary schools.

The much anticipated event for those that distinguished themselves during the recruitment exercise held at Osuntokun Pavilion, Government House, Ado-Ekiti.

Governor Oyebanji congratulated the successful candidates for scaling through the examination and interview stages, having been found qualified in competence and character.

He urged them to be a positive instrument in the academic and moral development of pupils they will be imparting.

He congratulated the Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) under its Chairman, Prof. Femi Akinwumi on the successful conclusion of the exercise in a timely manner as well as the Parents, Teachers Association in the state for their continued support for education in the state.
