Barely 48 hours after resigning from the ruling party in the State, Ken Imasuagbon, a popular chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has reportedly joined the Labour Party (LP), Parallel Facts exclusively reports.

Ken Imasuagbon, our source confirmed, is a perennial governorship contestant in Edo.

The source also disclosed that the Edo-born politician is also warming up to contest the governorship on the LP platform.

Imasuagbon reportedly decamped at the national headquarters of LP in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.

“I’m giving u details as an insider, he has officially joined LP. I’m confirming this in my small position as Deputy Cordinator of all Labour Party Support groups in Edo North and PRO at State Chapter,” the source disclosed in a chat with Parallel Facts on Friday.
Recall that Imasuagbon had been in the governorship race since 2007 having worked assiduously for the PDP and later the Grace Group, the PDP faction that thereafter metamorphosed into Action Congress, Action Congress of Nigeria and later the All Progressives Congress.
