Senior Product Manager

  • Develop and communicate a clear product strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals and objectives. Define and articulate the product vision, taking into consideration market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Create and manage a comprehensive product roadmap that outlines the features, enhancements, and updates to be delivered over time. Prioritize features based on business impact, customer value, and technical feasibility.
  • Gather and document detailed product requirements, user stories, and use cases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a shared understanding of the product’s scope and functionality.

Requirements

Job Description

  • A Technical Product Manager (TPM) plays a critical role in the development and success of technology products.
  • The TPM bridge the gap between technical teams (engineering, design, and data science) and non-technical teams (marketing, sales, and customer support) to ensure that a product is developed, launched, and maintained effectively.
  • The TPM is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and overall lifecycle management of a product, ensuring that it meets customer needs and aligns with Wakanow’s goals and objectives.​

Responsibilities

  • Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap based on market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback. Collaboratewith stakeholders to align product goals with overall company objectives.
  • Gather and distill customer requirements, translating them into detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria  for development teams.
  • Work closely with engineering, design, data science, and other relevant teams to prioritize features, plan sprints, and ensure timely and successful product delivery.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies to manage the product development lifecycle, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and facilitatingstand-up meetings.
  • Lead the end-to-end product development process, ensuring that the product is developed to meet quality standards, technical feasibility, and user expectations.
  • Make data-driven decisions on feature prioritization, balancing customer needs, business goals, and technical constraints.
  • Coordinate the launch of new products or features, including creating go-to-market strategies, messaging, and collaborating with marketing and sales teams.
  • Monitor key product metrics post-launch, gather user feedback, and iterate on features to enhance product performance and user satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies, preferably Agile.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into clear and concise language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and collaboration tools.
