Wizkid suffers painful loss as he loses mother

Famous Afrobeat singer, Ayodeji Balogun better known as Wizkid suffers a great loss as his mother, Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun passes on.

Mrs Balogun was said to have breathed her last on the night of Friday 18th August 2023 at around 1 a.m. in her residence.

The long-time manager of her son, Wizkid, Mr Sunday Are confirmed the report to The Punch via a phone conversation.

“Yes, she died this noon, at about 1.30 am,” Mr Sunday Are confirmed to The Punch.

Wizkid’s mother is survived by her husband, and two other children, Yetunde Balogun and Lade Balogun.
