Prince Abdulfatai Adeyemi, son of the late Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, has died.
He reportedly died on Friday, a day before his 47th birthday at the University College Hospital in Ibadan, Oyo State.
Abdulfatai was appointed by the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, as Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Pension Board during his first term.
He reportedly died from complications arising from his battle with diabetes.
In 2019, the deceased prince contested for the legislative seat of the Oyo Federal Constituency on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party but lost to his brother, Prince Akeem Adeyemi.
