Last week, Osimhen was named the Italian Footballers Association’s (AIC) player of the year for his sterling performance for Napoli FC last season.

Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen has been crowned the 2023 CAF Men’s Player of the Year.

The Napoli strike beat Egypt’s Mohamed Salah and Morocco’s Ashraf Hakimi to win the award.

Last week, Osimhen was named the Italian Footballers Association’s (AIC) player of the year for his sterling performance for Napoli FC last season.

The striker helped his side win their first league title in 33 years, scoring 26 Serie A goals in 2022-23.
