The family members of Aondo Ver, a director at the Federal Housing Authority, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) kidnapped by gunmen suspected to be terrorists, have thronged again to the police command, asking for help.

The FCT Abuja director has now spent 49 days in the terrorists’ den.

Aondo Ver was kidnapped at Pambara New Extension, Bwari Central Area of Federal Capital Territory at about 12:30am on Thursday February 1st 2024.

Pambara New Extension is about 200 metres away from the military camp and checkpoint in Bwari.

The kidnappers were said to have gained access through the fence after cutting the barb wires.

SaharaReporters had also gathered that all attempts by the vigilantes in the area to rescue the victim were abortive because they were poorly armed.

However, a source said that the family was in FCT command to see Josephine Adeh, FCT police spokesperson, who was from the same state with the victim.

“The family of Aondo Ver, a director at Federal Housing Authority, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) kidnapped by gunmen suspected to be bandits, were in FCT Police Command to see Josephine who is from the state and tribe with her.

“Aondo is still in with the kidnappers,” the source said.

Josephine Adeh, FCT police spokesperson, was not reachable when media attempted to reach her.
