It seems like the Npower beneficiaries are not ready to give up over their 8 months unpaid stipends. The beneficiaries are mounting pressure on the media calling on Mr president to Recall the suspension of the NSIP program which N-Power belongs to.

Recall that payment of Npower Outstanding stipends was halted months ago following the suspension of Humanitarian Minister, Dr. Betta Edu, Over mismanagement of funds. Prior to her suspension, she had at different media platforms, announced the recovery of the looted funds meant for Npower Beneficiaries.

We still believe that the owners of this money(Npower Beneficiaries) will receive it soon after conclusion of the internal investigation.

Prior to the investigation, there had been cases of mismanagement of Humanitarian funds leveled against the immediate past Minister, Sadiya Umar Farouq, which called for forensic audit down to Dr. Betta Edu’s administration as well all other agencies under the Humanitarian Ministry.

Before the Suspension of the NSIP program, there were preparation to recruit new volunteers under the Npower program under the renewed Hope Job Creation Programme. It was stopped till further notice!
