The autopsy performed on the body of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, also known as Mohbad, reportedly could not determine the cause of his death.

Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Wahab Shittu, revealed this during a press briefing at the coroner’s inquest in Lagos State on Wednesday.

Shittu explained that the pathologist conducting the autopsy informed the coroner that the deceased’s body had decomposed significantly by the time the examination was carried out.

He said, “According to him (pathologist), the cause of death cannot be determined because by the time they conducted the test, the body had decomposed and that it is not possible for them to determine the cause of death.

“So, in summary, he is saying the cause of death cannot be ascertained. When you say the cause of death cannot be ascertained, it means it is suspicious, it is not clear. No particular reason.”

Shittu also mentioned that the pathologist indicated the possibility that the late singer could have had a reaction to certain drugs administered to him before his death.

“He further explained that it is uncertain whether these drugs directly caused his death,” Shittu added.
