Fire razes an electronic shop in Port Harcourt as residents struggle to put out the inferno.
It was gathered that the storey building which is used by LG as a showroom and warehouse at Rumuosi Junction along Rumuokoro- Choba axis of the East-West Road went up in flames after a power surge.
The incident happened at about 12:30 pm on Sunday afternoon and residents at the time of filing this report are still fighting to put out the raving fire.
The building is sandwiched in between a church and another storey which residents feared would be a chain effect if help did not come soon.
A few minutes past 1 pm there is still no presence of firefighters nor security agencies to guard against loot.
