
Road users including motorists and motorcyclists are experiencing heavy traffic on Abuja/Kaduna Expressway as Sallah preparations have reached top gear.
The road has been jammed for several kilometers from Jere up to Katarina, forcing road users to opt for the alternative road of Kagarko/Kachia/Kaduna.
Media understands that the problem began, on Friday and got worse, on Saturday.
An official of Kaduna state government said they are aware of it and have been working to restore normalcy since last night.
Pilgrims are currently observing Arafat as Muslims all over the world mark Eid-el-Kabir, on Sunday.
Eid-el-Kabir is one of the Muslims’ festivals commemorating the willingness of Prophet Ibrahim to sacrifice his son, Isma’il A.S.
