The Nigerian Army says troops of 6 Division in Taraba State have arrested the mastermind of the recent deadly attack on Mararaban Azagwa, Maihura in the Bali Local Government Area of the state.
The suspect was reportedly arrested on Wednesday during an operation conducted by the troops while a motorcycle and guns were recovered from him.
According to a security analyst and counter-insurgency expert, Zagazola Makama, the suspect was behind the attack on the agrarian community of Taraba State where no fewer than six persons were killed.
Makama added that the suspect was being interrogated and further that details were expected to emerge in the coming days.
