JUST IN: After Atiku, Buhari Hosts El-Rufai In Daura

Ex-President Muhammadu Buhari’s residence in Daura, Katsina State, is fast becoming a go to place for top Nigerian politicians.

Before now, the residences of former President Olusegun Obasanjo; ex-Military President Ibrahim Babangida; former Head of State, Abdulsalami Abubakar, were hot spots for politicians who troop there frequently.

But Daura is fast catching up as it played host to former Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State less than 24 hours after ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar paid a similar visit.

Like Atiku, El-Rufai is not on the same page with the All Progressives Congress (APC) at his home state of Kaduna and at the federal level.

It is unclear if the visit to Buhari is part of the strategies to take on the ruling party in 2027.
