President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of new leaders to several key institutions, including the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT), the National Pension Commission (PenCom) and the National Agricultural Land Development Authority.
The presidential spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, in a statement issued on Saturday said that Dr. Mainasara Kogo has been appointed as Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal.
Dr. Kogo, renowned for his expertise in law, security, economy, politics, and international diplomacy, is expected by the President to bring professionalism, integrity, and national loyalty to the tribunal’s role.
Similarly, Mr. Cornelius Oluwasegun Adebayo has been appointed as the new Executive Secretary/Chief Executive Officer of the National Agricultural Land Development Authority.
Described as an engineer and a specialist in community and social development, Mr. Adebayo is tasked with leveraging his skills and experience to support Nigeria’s agricultural sector, as outlined in the presidential statement.
Furthermore, President Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Jobson Ewalefoh as the new Director-General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission, pending confirmation by the Nigerian Senate.
Mr. Ewalefoh, with extensive experience in government, development organizations, and public-private partnerships, is expected to demonstrate unwavering dedication and integrity in managing the ICRC’s mandate to enhance national infrastructure investment.
Additionally, Ms. Omolola Oloworaran has been appointed as the new Director-General of the National Pension Commission.
A seasoned finance and banking expert, Ms. Oloworaran’s leadership is anticipated to drive efficiency and exceptional performance within Nigeria’s pension industry, subject to confirmation by the Nigerian Senate.
At the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund, President Tinubu has approved Mr. Oluwaseun Faleye as the new Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer and Mrs. Mojisolaoluwa Kehinde Alli-Macaulay as the Executive Director (Operations).
Mr. Faleye, a specialist in legal and corporate finance, and Mrs. Alli-Macaulay, a former lawmaker and chairperson of the Lagos State House of Assembly Committee on Women Affairs, Poverty Alleviation, and Job Creation, are tasked with repositioning the NSITF to enhance social protection and service delivery to Nigerians.
These appointments underscore President Tinubu’s commitment to ensuring capable leadership and effective governance across critical sectors of Nigeria’s economy and public administration.
