A car went up in flames on the Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos State on Sunday.
The incident was captured in videos shared on social media on Sunday morning.
Sharing the video on X.com, a user identified as Pamilerin Adegoke wrote, “Just now on 3rd mainland bridge.”

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority gave an update stating that there was no casualty and firefighters were on ground to salvage the situation.
LASTMA wrote on X.com, “A burning vehicle on 3rd Mainland Bridge by Ilaje inward Adeniji Adele.
“No casualties involved, as #LagosRescue are already on ground doing the needful.”
The cause of the fire is yet to be known.
