Additionally, bus terminals, banks, eateries, fuel stations, stores, and other businesses remain closed, indicating a widespread shutdown in response to the protests.
Heavy security presence was evident in Lagos, with Armoured Personnel Carriers (APCs), police vans and large personnel were deployed at key locations, including Lekki Toll Gate, Gani Fawehinmi Freedom Park, and Peace Park in the Ojota area.
These strategic points were occupied by security forces, indicating a high level of preparedness and vigilance in anticipation of the protests.
