Operatives of Sokoto Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC have arrested thirteen suspected internet fraudsters in the Sokoto State capital.
The anti-graft agency said in a statement that the suspects were arrested on Saturday at Gidan Yaro and Dandima areas of Sokoto based on actionable intelligence on their involvement in internet-related offences.
All the suspects claimed to be students of Usman Danfodio University Sokoto.
The commission said the suspects will be charged to court upon conclusion of investigations.
