A Nigerian national has been arrested by the Libyan police authority in Sabha on charges of murder.

According to reports from Migrant Rescue Watch on its X handle, the altercation escalated when the victim was assaulted with a hammer.
“Police in Sabha arrested a Nigerian #migrant on charges of murder. The victim (also a Nigerian) following an altercation was assaulted with hammer and suffered head injuries that led to death.”
Meanwhile, the accused has been referred to Public Prosecution for legal action.
