Edward noted that the resurgence of “terror attacks can be attributable to the influx of foreign fighters who came in as reinforcements for these terrorists”.
“These foreign fighters are from the Sahelian Region,” he said.
He said the other contributing factor is the “support from local collaborators who serve as informants and report troops’ movements”.
He said the military has been taking away the terrorists’ assets like logistics, and administrative and fighting capabilities.
