Video making rounds on socials has revealed how Senator Ningi was suspended after uncovering a budget padding plan by Senator Akpabio.
This comes following the recent suspension of Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan after presenting a sexual harassment petition against Senator Akpabio.
Ningi challenged Akpabio for keeping his salary and that of his officials a secret to the house. He questioned the number of aides Akpabio acquires while adding that cars accrue to them as senators has not been remitted.
In the video, Ningi was seen saying,”Some one twenty billion, some fifty billion, some thirty billion. Mr President some have less than one billion.
“Mr President as I speak to you, I don’t even know your take home pay, you know my own. I don’t know the take home pay of any of your officials.
“Mr. President as I speak to you, I know the money within the budgetary provisions, you made available funds for purchase of cars, Mr. President, I don’t know how much was spent on your cars and the other principal officers.
“I know how much was spent on individual senators cars and I speak to you here standing, people are calling me names. I did not receive a single car.
“All within the budget provisions, I have five aides, just like every member of the House of representative has five. I do not know how the number of your aides. I do not know the number of the aides of your Deputy Senate President. You allow me to speculate.
“Therefore everything that is in the budget is my concern. Finally, Mr President, in the course of no man has dared me to sin everyday. I have been forced, I have been sinned, I have been forced to sin, it’s Mike, he’s deaf now.”
