In Warri, a heavy rainfall has caused extensive damage to a residential building, resulting in the roof being torn away, the ceiling being destroyed, and multiple rooms left in disarray, as alarmed residents evacuated for safety.

This incident was reported in a post on the popular social media platform X, which was previously known as Twitter.

The video shared shows the roof on the ground, entirely ripped off by the storm’s force.

Moments later, the footage captures the inside of one room, revealing significant damage, including fallen debris from the ceiling scattered across the floor.

The effects of the rain seemed to impact almost every part of the building in Warri, although residents on the lower floors reportedly experienced minimal disruption.
