Morris Monye, a prominent figure within Nigeria’s Labour Party and a key leader in the Obidient Movement, has been actively engaging with members of the Obidients diaspora in the United States.
As the Interim Director of Mobilisation for the Obidient Movement, Monye’s efforts are part of a broader initiative to strengthen the movement’s global presence and encourage political participation among Nigerians abroad.
This outreach is believed to align with recent developments within the Obidient Movement, including the establishment of a new organisational structure approved by former Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi.
Through this engagement, Monye and the Obidient Movement aim to harness the support of Nigerians in the diaspora, fostering a more inclusive and participatory political environment that transcends national boundaries as the 2027 general election approaches
