The Federal High Court in Lagos has awarded N10 million in damages against the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) after its officers violated the rights of #EndSARS memorial protesters in October.

The court ruled on Thursday that the police’s actions were illegal and constituted a rights violation.

Justice Musa Kakaki, the trial judge, gave the verdict.
