
Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s legal team has responded to the Clerk of the National Assembly, issuing a five-day ultimatum for her reinstatement.
The lawyers warned that failure to act could expose the Clerk to charges of breach of the Code of Conduct, contempt of court, and other legal consequences.
Lead counsel, Numa (SAN), argued that “pending appeals cannot be used as an excuse to prolong a sanction that has already lapsed by its own terms.”
