The Nigeria Jubilee Fellows Programme (NJFP), launched by the Federal Government, is an initiative funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented in partnership with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).
It seeks to address the unemployment challenge by connecting talented Nigerian graduates with job placement opportunities in Host Organizations across the country— offering experience, building skills, and preparing the workforce of the future.
According to reports, the Federal Government is investing $220 million to create job opportunities for young people in the country.

When Does the NJFP 2.0 Application Open?
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has announced that the portal officially opens on 22nd October 2025 and accessible from 5:00pm (WAT).
Duration of Fellowship
12-month paid work placements available in both private and public sectors, designed to provide valuable hands-on experience and enhance your career prospects.
Monthly Stipend Payments
A monthly stipend of 150,000 NGN for the entire duration of the Fellowship, ensuring financial support for lucky fellows throughout the journey.
National Coverage
The project has presence across the 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), providing opportunities nationwide.
Who can apply?
- Nigerian citizen
- Fresh graduate (bachelor’s degree or HND Certificate) from any discipline and graduated not earlier than 2022.
- Graduated with at least a Second-Class Lower (2.2) for bachelor’s degree or Upper Credit (> 3.00) for HND Certificate holders.
- 30 years old or younger.
- Not currently engaged in any employment.
- Completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) OR have a certificate of exemption from the NYSC.
- Demonstrate interest/commitment in chosen career field.
- Demonstrate interest/commitment to contributing to Nigeria’s socio-economic development.
- Excellent time management and a professional attitude.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
