BREAKING: Adeleke, Kefas absent as PDP convention kicks off in Ibadan

Governors Ademola Adeleke (Osun) and Agbu Kefas (Taraba), are conspicuously absent at the ongoing convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan, Oyo State capital.

The party, which has been mired in crisis, had vowed to carry on with the exercise despite two court judgements against it.

Daily Trust reports that the Umar Damagum-faction of the party went ahead with the convention relying on a judgement secured at an Oyo State High Court.

As the exercise kicked off, Daily Trust sighted Governors Ahmadu Fintri (Adamawa), Caleb Muftwang (Plateau), Bala Mohammed (Bauchi), Dauda Lawal (Zamfara), and the host, Seyi Makinde(Oyo).
