Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has spoken out following the recent wedding of Pastor Chris Okafor, making new allegations about the circumstances surrounding his marriage.
It would be recalled that Pastor Chris Okafor and his wife, Pearl tied the knot on the 16th of December.
Doris Ogala reacts to Chris Okafor’s wedding
In a statement circulating online, Ogala claimed that the pastor married his new wife after she allegedly became pregnant.
According to her, the situation was compounded by pressure from individuals close to the church, including the woman’s mother, whom she described as the choir coordinator.
Ogala claims Chris was compelled to marry
Ogala alleged that the pastor was compelled to go ahead with the marriage to avoid public exposure and scandal. She further stated that the wedding was not necessarily a matter of love but a response to mounting pressure and the fear of reputational damage.
Speaking on her own involvement, the actress said she never intended to marry the cleric, insisting that her actions were driven by a desire to expose what she described as wrongdoing rather than pursue a relationship.

“That man got that girl pregnant. The mother of that girl is the choir coordinator. They insisted that he has to marry the girl, or else they’ll disgrace and expose him. That girl is pregnant. He ran to marry that girl because he doesn’t want to be exposed. God led me to expose this man. I never wanted to marry him. I wanted revenge. “
