Job Title: Professor / Senior Research Fellow

Location: Lagos
Area: Research Hub (Social and Management Sciences, and Science and Technology)

Requirements

• A PhD or extensive and nationally and internationally recognized professional expertise;
• Excellent grasp of research methodology, grant sourcing, leadership and coordination skills;
• A clear commitment to making a leading contribution to the research environment with a track record of producing or to produce high quality research and research publications outputs;
• Ability to manage staff and students in research related matters;
• Track record in successful grant applications and to achieve grant targets
• Previous teaching experience at the university level;
• Experience of leading in a research team environment, and multidisciplinary research;
• Experience of developing major national / international projects with recognizable successes and conclusions;
• Extensive understanding of national and international contexts of research;
• Experience of working on high profile projects of national and international repute attracting media interest;
• Excellent interpersonal, networking and communication skills; and
• Excellent ICT skills
