Luck has met an X user, as the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, Limited (NNPCL) offered a petrol voucher worth N200,000, after her tweet went viral.
In the viral tweet, the Nigerian lady identified simply as MumZee on the microblogging platform, revealed how she began waking up to cook for her husband at 4.50 a.m.
“I’ve always been too lazy to wake up and get his lunch ready. But the day he told me a colleague brought two spoons so he’ll eat with her, was the day I set my alarm for 4:50 a.m,” the tweet reads
The tweet generated controversy as some users condemned her for the act while some others supported her by contributing to celebrate her dedication.
Reacting, NNPCL in a post shared on its official X handle on Saturday, offered her the gift.
“Hello #_Debbie_OA, we love your amazing love story, and we would like to gift you a free ₦200,000 PMS voucher redeemable at any of our 900+ retail stations nationwide.
“This will ensure that Mummy Zee has #EnergyforToday and #EnergyforTomorrow. We have just followed you. Please check your DM. Best wishes,” the post read
Earlier, a smartphone company, Infinix Nigeria, offered its latest device, Infinix Hot 40, to the Nigerian lady and her husband.
Similarly, the National Information Development Agency (NITDA), has also offered to gift her and her husband two laptops and a one-year internet subscription.
Also, a fintech company operating in Nigeria and the United Kingdom, Kuda Bank, has promised to gift N2 million Naira to her.
Reacting to a screenshot of over N2 million naira shared on X by MumZee on Saturday, Kuda wrote, “As your bank, we’re happy to match the ₦2,044,133.94 balance in your screenshot. Keep doing you, Debbie! 💜”
Replying to this, she commented, “I’m just seeing this. I got a call from Kuda today and they said I’ll hear from them, but I didn’t know it would be this huge. Thank you #joinkuda 😭🙏🏽🙏🏽🙌🏽.”
It was reports that Netizens have gifted the lady and her husband, Mr. Adebisi scholarships, furniture, a freezer, window blind, website, AC, free web designing classes, data analysis classes and over N3 million after their love story went viral.
