Gusau reportedly died on Thursday in a specialist hospital in New Delhi after a protracted illness.
Mallam Isa Gusau, spokesman for Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State, has reportedly died in an Indian hospital.
It was learnt that Gusau had been admitted to the Indian hospital for over a month as he battled an undisclosed illness.
Gusau reportedly died on Thursday in a specialist hospital in New Delhi after a protracted illness.
Gusau had a master’s degree and a postgraduate diploma in Labour and Public Relations from the University of Maiduguri.
He also had a master’s degree in Media and Public Relations.
However, the state government is yet to make official confirmation of his death nor yet clear when his body would be brought to Nigeria for burial.
