Nigerians are still in mourning after the tragic loss of our brother Herbert Wigwe, CFR, who was a Nigerian banker and entrepreneur who was most popular for being the CEO of Access Holdings Plc, traded as Access Corporation until the time of his death. Wigwe was also the Group Managing Director/CEO of Access Bank PLC, from January 2014 till April 2022 and was also in the process of opening Wigwe University, a private university based in Rivers State, supposed to officially commence operations in September of 2024.
He died following a helicopter crash in California, near the Nevada border in the United States of America. Onboard the fatal crash were his wife and his first son as well. The news is devastating, shocking, and very sudden. Since yesterday when the news broke, Nigerians have been in mourning and shock, and now, in light of his death, some of his old tweets are resurfacing.
