Suspended Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, who represents Kogi Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, has announced she will officially resume her legislative duties on Tuesday, July 8.
This announcement comes just days after a federal court ruling that favored the embattled senator, clearing the path for her return to the Red Chamber.
In a statement, Natasha expressed her gratitude to supporters and reiterated her commitment to serving the people of Kogi Central.
“I thank you for your support. I am glad we are victorious today. We shall resume in the Senate on Tuesday by the grace of God,” she said.
Natasha was suspended earlier this year over a series of controversies, but the recent court judgment nullified the grounds of her suspension, declaring it unconstitutional and directing immediate reinstatement.
