Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has approved 17 new appointments across key offices and institutions in the state, signalling a renewed focus on governance and efficiency.
This was disclosed in a statement on Monday by Kenneth Kalu, Secretary to the State Government, who said the appointments take immediate effect.

Ikechukwu Nwankwo – Deputy Chief Protocol Officer
Adaeze Ivy Iroegbu – Chief Moderator
Emmanuel Paul Irechi – Protocol Officer
Amarachi Inyama – Protocol Officer
Augustine Chukwuebuka – Protocol Officer
Abia State College of Education (Technical), Arochukwu
Dr. Joe Emeson – Chairman, Governing Council
Dr. Mrs. Idowu O. Eluwa – Provost
Abia State Liaison Office, Abuja
Iheanyi Frank Chinasa – Chief Liaison Officer/National Assembly Liaison Officer
Abia State Transport Corporation
Emmanuel M. Ufomba – Chairman
