Nollywood Actress Doris Ogala Reportedly Arrested Amid Escalating Feud with Pastor Chris Okafor

Unconfirmed reports circulating on social media claim that Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has been arrested by police, just days after intensifying her public allegations against Pastor Chris Okafor, founder of Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministry (also known as Grace Nation).

The alleged arrest reportedly occurred during a live stream session where Ogala was discussing the ongoing controversy. Social media users and gossip accounts have shared posts asserting that she was “taken into custody” following her recent appearance on a podcast, where she called on the Department of State Services (DSS) to investigate Pastor Okafor’s church altar, alleging hidden secrets and a past incident involving a fatality during construction.

These claims remain unverified by official sources, including police statements or mainstream media outlets as of now. However, the reports align with heightened tensions in the saga, which has dominated Nigerian entertainment news in recent weeks.

The feud escalated earlier this month when Ogala publicly accused Pastor Okafor whom she claims was her partner since 2017 of betraying her by marrying another woman, Pearl, on December 16, 2025. Ogala has alleged breach of marriage promise, emotional distress, miscarriages, and financial disputes, even issuing a legal demand for ₦1 billion in damages and filing a lawsuit.

In response to her latest claims about the church, some online commentators have called for Ogala’s arrest on grounds of defamation, while others speculate that legal action from Pastor Okafor’s side may have prompted the reported detention.

Pastor Chris Okafor has not publicly commented on the arrest rumors but previously responded to earlier allegations with a Bible verse during a sermon. The clergyman’s wedding proceeded amid the drama, attended by notable figures.
