DSS ARRESTS POPULAR BLOGGER, IRUEFI, WHO FLED NIGERIA IN 2023 AFTER ACCUSING FORMER LAGOS GOV, RAJI FASHOLA OF WRITING PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION RESULT WON BY TINUBU

Mr Ibezim Emmanuel Nnamdi a.k.a. Iruefi, the CEO of @ReporteraNews, fled the country after the 2023 presidential election.

He had alleged in a viral publication on his platform that former Lagos State governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola it was who wrote the ‘midnight’ result read by the Supreme Court judges declaring Bola Ahmed Tinubu president.

Fashola didn’t take lightly to the allegation. So he sued the young man after which he sneaked out of the country to the United Kingdom. His brother who had access to his platform’s account was later arrested in his place.

Meanwhile, one year after, Iruefi reportedly committed a fr@@ud in the UK and was declared wanted by the authorities. He fled his place of residence and, perhaps, believing that the Nigerian government has forgotten about his case and because he had nowhere else to relocate to abroad, he sneaked back to Nigeria earlier today, reportedly under a disguise.

He was identified by the state security service and picked up at the Lagos airport.

Sources say a member of his WhatsApp group had approached him to exchange Pounds Sterling to five million naira cash but he collected the Pounds and fled his known address and promptly deactivated his twitter account, @iruefing.
